How we met Through a good friend at a bbq and then reunited on Sky Fire night.
The proposal We were on holidays at the Gold Coast in the Italian Restaurant at Crowne Casino, after mains a guitar and violin player came to our table, along with a big bunch of red roses and a chocolate plate with Tia & Michael in a heart with the ring in the middle. Michael proposed with the whole restaurant watching and he even organised a professional photographer to take a photo.
Summary of the big day Michael and I really want a wedding that was unique. We decided that we didn't want to spend the money on a short function, we wanted to spend time with our guests so we went down to Kianinny Resort in Tathra where our guests stayed for two or three nights and we had a 3 day event. We danced till 5am it was fabulous.
Fondest Memory Seeing Michael once I got down the bottom of the aisle, I was crying as he gave me a note of paper just before I walked down. I was so happy.
Funniest Moment When our Groomsmen dressed our page boy in a size zero suit that he wore to their wedding two years prior. He is now a size three, so they were knicker boxes, with his tummy sticking out and sleeves to his elbows.
Worst Moment Just the wind, it was really windy when we came out of the Church and for photos.
Money Saving Ideas Search the web you can get really nice things for cheaper prices and stick to your budget.
Bride's/Groom's advice Stop and take it all in, it does go fast, enjoy every second and don't worry about the small things that go wrong.
What we would do differently Have an event planner on the day. My family did a lot of running around. Employee professionals to do the work so you and your family can relax and take everything in.

Feedback
Ceremony Father Simon at St Patricks Bega was such a nice Priest. He made us feel so relaxed.
Reception Venue Kianinny Resort is an amazing place for a wedding, Leanne and Michael were the perfect hosts. It is so beautiful there and your guests can stay and no one boots you out at 12am.
Photography Locations A beautiful tree and lake on side of the road, Tathra Wharf, Tathra Beach and the best photos were taken at Kianniny Resort around their beautiful lake, bush land and their jetty.
Rings Vangelli's did a great job on my Engagement ring and on our wedding rings. We regularly drop in for our free shine and polish to make them sparkle
Bridal Gown Abbey Bridal in Sydney. I could have chosen 10 dresses there. They aren't very welcoming on the weekend though once you have chosen your dress, they make you come mid week in Sydney which is hard for some people.
Bridesmaids' Dresses Effi from Effi Creations did a magnificient job, she made all my bridesmaid dresses, my Mums outfit, my veil and did my bridal dress alterations. She is fantastic. A really lovely lady.
Hair Trendsetter in Tura Beach. They were fantastic highly recommended.
Make-up Ngaire Harvey did a fabulous job. Very professional.
Suits Very friendly and helpful.
Invites/Bomboniere Shantias made beautiful lace boxed invites with a rose and feather on top. They looked amazing. The Sweet Spot in Randwick, Sydney did the wedding dress cookies and they were delcious.
Cake Susan from Cakes of Your Dreams is lovely, she makes the best cakes in
Canberra.

Stan from 3D entertainment was great, always a pleasure to deal with.

Videography Gregory Primmer, very professional. Great job.
Bridal Registry Shantias supplied us with a wishing well, it has a
lock which is highly recommend for the amount of money it holds. Perfect.
Honeymoon Palazzo Versace was great, Crystal Creek Rainforest Retreat was the most relaxing beautiful place, hightly recommend for a honeymoon.
